Sue has the experience our county needs:

• Joined the Chaffee County Sheriff's Office in 1999
• Detention officer
• Patrol Deputy
• Search and Rescue Team Member
• Defensive Tactics/Weapon Retention Instructor
• Use of Force Instructor
• Department of Justice Instructor of DNA and Evidence of Handling in Sexual Assaults
• Recruited by the Dept. of Justice to help write the National Training in DNA/Evidence of Handling
• Sheriff's Office Sexual Assault Investigator
• Detective
• Supervisor
• First Female International Police Advisor in Ramadi, Iraq.
• She is currently training Iraqi Police for modern law enforcement in a democratic society.

Sue chose to live in our beautiful county.
She is committed to Chaffee county.
She has a family here.
She raised her son here.
She runs a business here.
She lives and plays here.
She is NOT coming back here to retire.

She will be returning from Iraq Police Training Mission in March.
